Motivational interviewing

Motivational interviewing (MI) provides us with a way to have conversations about change. In this course, participants will learn the basics of how to apply motivational interviewing to a number of typical as well as challenging clinical situations.

Reflective practice training, Part I

The training focuses on reflective practice as a strategy for enhancing skills, understanding our reactions and responses when working with others, and examining the emotional content of our experiences that can reduce work stress, and improve our sense of professional competence and well-being.

Care coordination and multidisciplinary teams

We will spend time taking a close look at the roles and functions of case management, and the challenges, and the case management role specifically in Pre-treatment primary treatment, and aftercare.

Law and ethics for behavioral health

This will be a six-hour web-based power-point presentation (6 CEs) that will focus on new laws, case law and regulations that will impact public entity healthcare providers or their patients and clients.

Taking Action for Whole Health and Wellbeing - Seminar I

The Copeland Center’s Taking Action for Whole Health and Wellbeing course is a co-facilitated group process that supports individuals in creating a personalized system for recovery, sustaining and/or improving their whole health outcomes and enhancing their lifestyles.
