- explain two basic definitions common to telehealth services: distant site and originating site
- recognize and explain three privacy concerns unique to telehealth delivery as well as safety considerations when working with clients who may be at risk for self-harm
- articulate the two ways that California permits providers to obtain consent to use telehealth, and the basic elements that must be included when obtaining that consent
- describe two recent updates to California laws that now permit the use of telehealth for assessments associated with decisions to provide involuntary mental health care and for supervision of those seeking licensure in California
- articulate three clinical issues associated with the decision to offer services via telehealth
