Disability justice

The session will introduce participants to the core tenets of disability justice, laying a foundation for understanding how these principles apply to behavioral health systems. Participants will engage in an interactive exploration of the intersections of disability, race, and gender. By the end of the day, participants will have actionable tools to integrate disability justice into their practices. They will reflect on how centering disability justice can transform behavioral health systems, creating equitable environments where disabled and neurodivergent individuals are respected, supported, and empowered to thrive.
