- Explain 3 key differences between opioids and non-opioids.
- Identify at least 4 signs and symptoms of opioid overdose.
- Identify 2 keys elements to assess victim and respond to an opioid overdose.
As a result of this training, participants will gain knowledge and learn about:
- The mechanism of action for naloxone.
- The use of naloxone to aid in the reversal of an opioid overdose.
- Signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.
