Teamwork and team building

In this workshop participants will be encouraged to explore the different aspects of a team, as well as ways that they can become a top-notch team performer. Participants will be given the details and concepts of what makes up a team, and what factors into being a successful team and team member. In this workshop we ask that participants who attend be ready to share with others both in large groups and small groups. What supports this course to be effective is that we all share and learn from each other.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the four phases of the Tuckman and Jensen team development model.
  • Identify the three types of teams.
  • Identify at least two actions to practice when encouraging teamwork.
