Course information:
This course has five sessions on Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon
Target Audience: Mental Health and AOD professionals, para-professionals, case managers, residential care givers, front office staff, RN’s, psychologists, outreach workers, vocational and job counselors, psychiatrists and all others serving individuals with serious mental illnesses and their families.
Fifteen (15) hours CEU’s for those that qualify ... at no cost!
Learning Objectives:
- You will gain a working understanding of the bio-psycho-social model of collaborative treatment
- You will gain insight into the lived experience of mental illness
- You will have a working understanding of adaptation to diagnosis, medication and treatment
- And gain an appreciation of the positive outcomes of team collaboration where consumers, family members and professionals work together
